India stands together with
people and Government of Thailand in tackling
floods
The government and people of India express their solidarity
with the government and people of Thailand in this difficult
period of severe floods across central
Thailand.
The Government of India announces assistance of Thai Baht 6
million (US$ 200,000) to the Government of Thailand to help
with flood relief.
The External Affairs Minister of India, Mr. S. M. Krishna had
earlier conveyed deep condolences to his Thai counterpart on
the loss of life and damage to property and agriculture in
Thailand.
